Cantilever gate

A cantilever gate has several advantages compared to traditional sliding gates and swing gates. Unlike swing gates, it takes up much less space from the driveway or parking area.
Another advantage is that the gate rollers run in a closed system and do not come into direct contact with the ground. As a result, their operation is not affected by gravel, branches, leaves, or uneven surfaces.
The guiding mechanism is also much less sensitive to adverse weather conditions, such as freezing, deep snow, freezing rain, and similar factors. No running rail needs to be installed in or next to the gate opening, which means that foundation work is required over a much shorter section — only about 15–20% of what is needed for a sliding gate.
Its only disadvantage is that it requires a longer space for opening. Where space is not an issue, using a cantilever gate is the recommended solution.
